Everything You Need to Know

Where can I book tickets?

You can book your ticket through our website, or at each port we have a ticket office where you can purchase tickets on the same day, 20–30 minutes before your desired departure.

What time should I arrive at the port?

If you already have your ticket: We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before departure; this is sufficient.
If you do not have your ticket yet: Arrive 20–30 minutes early to buy your ticket at the sales point.

What if the boat cannot sail due to bad weather?

In case of adverse weather conditions and trip cancellation, we will contact you via email to reschedule or refund your ticket. If purchased at the ticket office, you must go to the same location where you bought it. Please keep your ticket in perfect condition. Can I cancel my trip for personal reasons?

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start are free of charge. Cancellations within 24 hours must be justified due to force majeure, such as medical reasons or other verifiable circumstances.

Are wheelchairs allowed on board?

Yes, as long as the wheelchair is standard size and weight, non-motorized, and boarding/disembarking is done at one of the following ports: Cala Ratjada, Cala Bona, or Porto Cristo.

What should I bring for the boat excursion?

We recommend bringing swimwear if you plan to swim. Also, the sea breeze can be cool, so during April, May, September, and October, bring a light jacket or comfortable covering.

What services are available on board?

Our boats offer toilets, a bar, and two seating areas:

  • Upper deck: Perfect for sunbathing.
  • Lower deck: Ideal for shade.

The bar offers soft drinks, water, beer, snacks, and typical local beverages.

Do all boats have underwater viewing windows?

Yes, all four boats feature a lower deck with large side windows to observe marine life.

Do all boats have slides and sea access ladders?

Yes, all four boats have two slides and ladders at the rear for sea access.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Dogs travel for free!

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, credit card payments are accepted at all points of sale.

Can I take photos or videos on the boat?

Absolutely, the coastline offers spectacular scenery perfect for photography.

Is it necessary to book in advance?

Not usually, but during high season, we recommend booking at least one day in advance.

What ages are considered child fares?
  • 0–2 years: Free.
  • 3–12 years: Child fare of €15 on any regular route.
¿Se puede comer dentro del barco?

Yes, as long as it is not in glass containers (glass is prohibited). Please keep the area clean and leave it as you found it.

FAQ’S regarding Cuevas del Drach

Recommendations for visiting Cuevas del Drach

- Wear suitable shoes; some areas may be wet.
- Baby strollers are not advised.
- Photography, filming, and pets (except guide dogs) are prohibited.
- Follow all instructions from authorized personnel.

Can visually impaired visitors enter the caves?

Yes, guide dogs are allowed.

Are wheelchairs allowed in Cuevas del Drach?

No, due to uneven steps (250 steps up and down).

How can I get to Cuevas del Drach from Porto Cristo?

It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Porto Cristo dock. Staff can provide directions if needed.

Does booking the cave ticket with the boat ticket guarantee entry?

Yes, CREUERS ILLA BALEAR, S.L. reserves the cave tickets after the boat departure. During peak months, advance reservation is recommended because visitor numbers are limited. Buying the cave ticket with your boat ticket allows direct entry without waiting in long lines.
